prep is 99% of what makes a paint job the shizzle.all it will do is cost him more later down the line to fix the effed up Maacco job. HOWEVER....
if you pay macco to do it right (ie, 3K+), then you usually end up with a very fine product for many years of enjoyement. please, sell your Z.
